The Nexelec GUARD and GUARD+ LoRaWAN® smoke alarms enable you to remotely maintain your smoke alarms without having to enter the building. With the ability to interconnect up to 25 sensors and accessories, you can be assured the Nexelec GUARD series has your premises covered. Ideal for property maintenance specialists and facility managers, these LoRaWAN® smoke alarms are particularly useful in Smart Buildings, Housing Associations and Student Accommodation. For those looking for additional data, the GUARD+ also features temperature and humidity sensors. The ability to interconnect smoke alarms became a legal requirement in Scotland in 2022 and has been a requirement in new build and privately rented homes for over a decade. Interconnected devices in the network will simultaneously trigger the activation of the alarms. If an alarm is triggered, the building occupants will be automatically alerted. The sensor can also be configured to alert you if the alarm is activated, giving you the option to carry out checks on unoccupied buildings or alert an authorised third-party. By using LoRaWAN® technology, the Nexelec Guard and Guard+ also enables you to easily maintain digital logs of device statuses and to manage thousands of alarms wherever you may be. Thanks to the intelligent NAVIXIS digital logbook, demonstrating compliance couldn’t be simpler. Data recorded by these LoRaWAN® smoke alarms is accessed through this smart dashboard, here, users are able to:

• View a complete history of their devices including when it was installed and maintained.
• Access all device status and data such as battery status and faults from one centralised platform.
• With an API interface, this data can also be easily fed through to your chosen Management Software for a centrally managed system.
• If maintenance is required, the logbook can be configured to send reminders when it’s time to check or replace detectors.
