Product Description

The Nexelec PMO LoRaWAN® Outdoor Air Quality Sensor is a comprehensive device that enables you to remotely monitor outdoor air quality conditions and fine particle emissions. This smart microstation quickly detects instances where PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 levels are too high. Combined with integrated temperature and humidity sensors, it provides a clear and reliable picture of outdoor environmental conditions.

Outdoor air quality monitoring is essential to improve urban and industrial environments. The PMO can be deployed to help improve air quality, protect public health, ensure compliance with regulations, identify pollution sources, monitor climate change, and support research projects. For assured accuracy, the fine particle sensor is validated by an independent metrology lab. To ensure consistent readings, the device uses heated air to eliminate distortions from ambient humidity.

Designed for flexibility, the PMO can be wall- or pole-mounted, with integrated GPS for precise deployment even in remote locations. It offers mains power with battery backup or a solar-powered version for autonomous operation (solar variant SKU – I950LR_FND_PV_S). Recorded data is transmitted via LoRaWAN® to a gateway and network server, allowing seamless integration with your chosen IoT dashboard.
